All change—significant, lasting transformation—happens inside-out, not outside-in. It reminds me of the story of the barnyard pig. No matter how often the little girl would clean her pig, the little guy would return to the pigsty and get dirty again. She’d have to change his “pig-ness” to change his behavior…
It’s a very frustrating experience to try and change appearance without first changing our character, our nature. When I think of legalism, I think of outside-in living…a very frustrating way to live.
“Fleshly Speaking II” is a recording that sheds more light on the inside-out workings of Jesus Christ in our lives. I pray you are blessed and challenged through the hearing of it.
